Dear landlord / future housemates :) My name is Sidra, and I am looking for a room or studio in Tilburg as I prepare to start my graduate program at Tilburg University this September (2026). I am originally from Syria and I grew up attending international schools and travelling often with my family, so I have always lived in quite international environments. I currently live in Moscow, where I teach English at an international academy. After visiting the Netherlands in 2025, I fell in love with the country and the people and so I am very excited to now make the move and begin this new chapter in Tilburg. I am now on the look out for a place I can settle in and hopefully make my home for the next 6 to 12 months. I have experience living with other tenants and am very familiar with the norms that come with sharing a flat. For me, the most important things in a shared living space are respecting each other’s privacy and sleeping schedules, keeping common areas clean, and communicating clearly whenever anything needs to be discussed. I am sociable, respectful, tidy, and laid back. I enjoy meeting new people, but I also value a calm and comfortable home environment. During my time in Tilburg, I imagine I will be mostly focused on my studies and staying active, as I love sports and generally enjoy having a healthy routine. Alhoewel ik het daar erg gezellig heb gehad is het nu toch echt tijd om het studentenleven achter me te laten.
