Hello! I'm Georgia, I'm 22 and will be moving to complete a year at VU, arriving on 31st August. Alongside uni I plan on working part time, I do already have a job lined up for once I am settled and so registration will be necessary for my search! I currently study at the University of Manchester, I love cooking, travelling, music and anything creative! Ik ben geboren in Alkmaar en opgegroeid in Bergen. 2,5 jaar geleden verhuisde ik terug naar Alkmaar en inmiddels heb ik mijn hart aan de stad verloren. Ik hou van de combinatie van de stad en de natuur: een wandeling door de duinen, even naar het strand, over de markt struinen of een speciaalbiertje drinken bij De Boom. Doordeweeks werk ik in de marketing bij een bakkerschool in Zaandam. In mijn vrije tijd wandel, kook en teken ik graag. Om meer betrokken te zijn bij de stad werk ik sinds 2 jaar als vrijwilliger mee aan het magazine van de 8 October Vereniging. Ik ben rustig, netjes en vind het belangrijk om goed voor mijn woonplek te zorgen. Helaas moet ik mijn huidige woning vanwege de gemeente verlaten, waardoor ik nu op zoek ben naar een nieuwe plek in Alkmaar. Een aanbeveling van mijn huidige verhuurder kan ik uiteraard geven.

Ik ben iemand met meer hobby's op een scherm dan in de wildernis. Lezen, schrijven, en games programmeren en/of spelen zie je me veel sneller doen dan uitgaan en feesten. Ik hou ontzettend veel van dieren (nog veel meer als ze niet meer dan vier poten hebben) en ik hoop een goeie, vriendelijke relatie te hebben met wie ik samenwoon.

Hallo! Ik ben onlangs afgestudeerd aan de VU Amsterdam met met een master Wiskunde. Begin februari 2027 ben ik van plan om de vervolgopleiding tot leraar VHO aan de UvA te gaan volgen. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit de VS en krijg voorlopig financieel steun van mijn ouders. Ik ben momenteel op zoek naar werk en een nieuw appartement. Ik ben een vrij rustig iemand. Ik hou van lezen en musea bezoeken. Ik vind het ook leuk om bord spelletjes te spelen en doe graag mee aan karaoke.
