Hi! We're Marcos and Helena, looking for housing in Zwolle, either separate rooms or a shared apartment, we're flexible either way. We'd love to move in as soon as possible. We're both starting a Master's program at ArtEZ this September, combining our studies with part-time work here in Zwolle. Marcos already has a part-time job at a restaurant in the city, and Helena has retail work experience. Both of us can provide proof of income through our work contracts, and we also have family support backing us up financially, so rent won't be an issue. We're calm, quiet, and tidy people. We don't smoke and don't have pets. In our free time we enjoy relaxed, low-key activities: Marcos is into indie video games, jazz, and creative hobbies like drawing, crafts, and crochet; Helena loves reading and watching series. Neither of us is looking for a party lifestyle. We value a peaceful home. We're currently taking Dutch lessons and can already get by with basic Dutch, with plenty of motivation to keep improving. This would be our first time renting outside our parents' home, so we don't have previous landlord references yet, but we're responsible, communicative, and looking for a stable place to stay long-term, ideally more than just one academic year. Wij zijn Joris en Meike. We zijn allebei opgegroeid in Deventer en wonen mmenteel in Maastricht, waar we allebei hebben gestudeerd. Omdat we graag weer dichter richting ‘huis’ willen wonen, willen we naar Nijmegen verhuizen. Joris gaat na de zomer zeer waarschijnlijk fulltime voor de overheid werken in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Ik werk momenteel bij het Openbaar Ministerie en start binnenkort met mijn master aan de universiteit in Nijmegen. Omdat we beiden veel met het openbaar vervoer reizen, gaat onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een appartement op loopafstand van een station. Wij zijn allebei netjes, rustig en handig. We wonen inmiddels ruim drie jaar in ons appartement in Maastricht en hebben in die tijd nooit hulp van onze huisbaas hoeven vragen, bijvoorbeeld voor reparaties of onderhoud. Wij zoeken dan ook een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen die we ons thuis kunnen noemen.

I’ve recently moved to the Netherlands for a research traineeship at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), where I’ll be working in biomedical research until the end of March 2027. I’m looking for a furnished room or studio in Leiden or the surrounding area for the duration of my stay.
