I’m planning to move to the city with the intention of staying long-term, finding a job as soon as possible and building a stable life there. At home, I enjoy a good living atmosphere, both having my own space and sharing moments, conversations or plans with my flatmates. I like watching movies and having relaxed time at home, but I also enjoy a social lifestyle, always being respectful of the people I live with. In my free time, I’d like to enjoy what the city has to offer, meet new people and spend time outdoors, especially in green areas. I’m open-minded, friendly and easy to live with. I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, and I still talk about it way too much. My friends are honestly tired of hearing the same stories by now!
