I’ve lived in Amsterdam for five years now, I’m originally from Finland and moved here for studies, but after graduating from the university with a bachelors in Media and Culture two years ago I was still so in love with this city I decided to stay indefinitely and now I just started studying again at the Rietveld Art academy. As a person I am very extroverted and can be a real chatter box, but I find that when I am home I am the opposite. For me the house is a place to relax and recharge. My ideal flatmate would be someone who respects my privacy and need for alone time, but also someone who I could laugh and chat with now and again. I’m currently urgently looking for a place because the flat I live in right now is intolerable. I trusted the wrong landlord a couple months back and I am now living in a dirty, overcrowded and unsafe place where I can’t eat, sleep or shower properly.
