Hello, My name is Daniel and I am from Portugal. I am currently in the final stage of my Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Coimbra. From the beginning of September 2026 until July 2027, I will be moving to Utrecht to join a medical imaging research group at UMC Utrecht as a research intern. I am a respectful, responsible and easy-going person who values a clean and well-maintained home. I understand that a home is something that landlords value greatly, and I always take good care of the place where I live. I am organized, clean and considerate of both property and the people around me. Sport has always been an important part of my life. I practice judo and have competed at a high level, which has taught me discipline, commitment and respect. I also play the flute and attended the Conservatory of Music of Coimbra, an experience that further developed my dedication and perseverance. In my free time I enjoy sports, technology and travelling. During my stay, I hope to integrate into Dutch culture, meet new people and make the most of this international experience. Hey hey, I am about to start my Master’s in Molecular Medicine at EUR and am therefore looking for a place to live in Rotterdam, that maybe is even near the medicine campus (fingers crossed). Currently, I live in student housing in Dresden, Germany, with three flatmates. We get along very well, even with few formal rules, as we naturally clean up after one another. Would be great to find flatemates like this as well as have a nice kitchen to cook. Since I eespecially enjoy cooking evenings with my flatmates, even if they are not as frequent anymore due to our busy schedules. Apart from writing my Bachelor’s thesis, I spend my time playing field hockey, trying out new sports such as canoe polo, taking language classes (for example Japanese), and going out with friends. When I am not busy, I really appreciate having a place where I can relax watch a movie or read a bit. The best is after a long day (or night) to come back to a place where I feel comfortable and homey. Maybe your place is this perfect spot???
