I’m starting Economics and Business Economics at UvA in September 2026. I’d describe myself as sporty, independent, tidy and easy to live with. I enjoy my own space, however I also really like being in a friendly house where people can have a nice chat! At the moment I’m in my gap year. I have been working at Nike, tutoring online and doing an internship before starting university. I am now about to go on a trip throughout Asia for 6 weeks! In my free time I’m usually running, travelling, exploring new places or working on my own projects. Ik ben Julian, 17 jaar en aankomend student technische natuurkunde aan de UT. Bij mooi weer ben ik in mijn vrije tijd vaak te vinden op een zweefvliegveld bij mij in de buurt. Inmiddels heb ik ook mijn brevet, waarmee ik nu solo boven ons land (en verder) mag vliegen. Met de vliegclub ben ik regelmatig op zomerkamp geweest, waarbij ik veel plezier aan het groepsgebeuren heb beleefd. Het lijkt mij dan ook erg leuk om samen tijdens huisavonden en daarbuiten dingen te ondernemen. Ik ben vrij relaxt, maar zeker niet ongezellig!

Hi, my name is Paul and I'm moving to the Netherlands to pursue my Master's in Design for Interaction at TU Delft – a dream I've been working towards for a long time. I'm originally from Germany, studied and worked in Design in Weimar, and I'm someone who genuinely loves shared living. I've lived in shared apartments for 8 years, so I know what makes it work: mutual respect, clear boundaries, being there for each other, and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. Living together well is something I take seriously – and enjoy. Outside of studies I love cycling, hiking, sitting in cafés, and exploring new places. I'm looking forward to building a real home, not just a temporary stay. What I bring along: a great vinyl/CD collection, useful household appliances, and furniture for shared spaces if needed. Ik leer ook Nederlands, dus ik hoop snel een beetje mee te kunnen praten! Wat ik meeneem: een mooie cd-collectie, handige huishoudelijke apparaten en eventueel meubels voor de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Financieel sta ik er goed voor: ik heb spaargeld en ga naast mijn studie parttime werken, dus de huur wordt altijd op tijd betaald. Heee mijn naam is Alva en ik ga komend jaar Civiele Techniek studeren in Delft. Daarvoor zoek ik natuurlijk nog een kamer :) ik ben 18 jaar oud en kom van het GGH in Hilversum. Ik hou onder andere erg veel van een gezellige avond met vriendinnen, spelletjes en ook roeien :). Ik zit zelf al bijna 5 jaar op roeien en ben ook van plan dit tijdens m'n studie te blijven doen. I am looking to start a bachelors in Dutch studies in September 2026 to improve my Dutch and then either keep up that course or switch to a course in liberal arts and science. I am a very active person and love to play sports, go out running, on bike rides, climbing and am always looking to try new activities. I am very active but I am also just as happy to sit down and have a chill time playing board games or watching a movie or just sitting and chatting.
