Dear landlord / future housemates :) My name is Sidra, and I am looking for a room or studio in Tilburg as I prepare to start my graduate program at Tilburg University this September (2026). I am originally from Syria and I grew up attending international schools and travelling often with my family, so I have always lived in quite international environments. I currently live in Moscow, where I teach English at an international academy. After visiting the Netherlands in 2025, I fell in love with the country and the people and so I am very excited to now make the move and begin this new chapter in Tilburg. I am now on the look out for a place I can settle in and hopefully make my home for the next 6 to 12 months. I have experience living with other tenants and am very familiar with the norms that come with sharing a flat. For me, the most important things in a shared living space are respecting each other’s privacy and sleeping schedules, keeping common areas clean, and communicating clearly whenever anything needs to be discussed. I am sociable, respectful, tidy, and laid back. I enjoy meeting new people, but I also value a calm and comfortable home environment. During my time in Tilburg, I imagine I will be mostly focused on my studies and staying active, as I love sports and generally enjoy having a healthy routine. Hoi! Ik ben Minthe en ik kom uit Zuid-Limburg. Aankomend schooljaar ga ik Bouwkunde studeren aan de HAN in Arnhem, dus ik ben op zoek naar een fijne kamer omdat de reistijd anders echt te lang wordt. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief: ik speel tennis en ga het liefst elk jaar op wintersport. Daarnaast hou ik van gezellige dingen op z’n tijd, zoals spelletjesavonden, samen eten of een filmavond. Ik kook ook graag, dus af en toe iets lekkers samen maken vind ik alleen maar leuk 🙂 Ik ben een rustig en net persoon en hou van een schoon en opgeruimd huis.
