Hey toekomstige huisgenoten!! Ik ben Liam, 19 jaar (bijna 20…) en op zoek naar een nieuwe thuisbasis! Net teruggekeerd van mijn gap year vol met stages, lifeguarding en het overleven van mijn niet normale backpacking trip in de Filipijnen en Thailand, kijk ik enorm uit om te beginnen aan mijn bachelor studie Civiele Techniek in Delft en optimaal van mijn studententijd te gaan genieten. Dat vraagt om een toffe kamer in een gezellig studentenhuis waar we samen en heele boel lol kunnen hebben en ook lekker kunnen studeren. Iets korts over mijzelf: ik ben Nederlands/Duits, geboren in Oman en opgegroeid in het Midden-Oosten. En nee, ik ging niet op een kameel naar school zoals zommige denken, maar zat wel vaak met 50 graden in de woestijn. In de zomers veel in Nederland geweest, maar kom nu voor het eerst echt in Nederland wonen. Heb er super veel zin in om me de Nederlands studenten cultuur eigen te gaan maken. Verder ben ik sociaal, sportief en avontuurlijk ingesteld. Ik ga graag met vrienden op pad, dingen organiseren, koken, actief in de gym en ik hou van de outdoors, zowel op het land (hardlopen, skiën, 4x4 off-roading, kamperen), als op het water (wakeboarding, duiken, zeilen). Daarnaast speel ik ook voetbal en volleybal. Als de kamer nog vrij is, zou ik het super leuk vinden om eens kennis te maken, eventueel via jullie instemming of gewoon via een borrel 🙏🏼.
