Hi! I'm Mikkel, a 22-year-old student from Norway moving to Eindhoven to study Computer Science at TU/e. I'm looking for a room from mid-August, ideally for the full academic year (or longer I'd love to find a home for my whole degree). I'm social, active, and easy to live with. Outside of studying, I'm fond of hiking, cycling, and alpine/cross country skiing when I get the chance. I'm also into art and film. I look forward to visiting all the Dutch museums. I'm plan on learning Dutch and getting familiar with Dutch culture, particularly "borrels". I'm tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and interested in getting to know my housemates; shared meals and house activities are a big plus for me. My studies are funded through Lånekassen, the Norwegian government's official student loan and grant system which provides stable guaranteed and sizeable income. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Hey, so a bit of context, I'm 24, finishing up my engineering degree at RWTH Aachen and moving over from September for an internship at ASML. I just want to be upfront that I'm a low-maintenance guy who treats a home with respect, keeping things clean and the noise down. Realistically I'll be pretty busy with work most of the week, and on weekends I'm usually in Maastricht seeing friends, so the room won't see much wear and tear. I speak German, English, and Bulgarian, so language isn't an issue, and I've lived in a few different cities already so settling in somewhere new isn't really a problem for me. Daarom ben ik op zoek naar een fijne woonruimte waar ik mij volledig kan richten op mijn studie. Momenteel woon ik nog bij mijn ouders in Rotterdam, maar vanwege de lange reisafstand wil ik graag naar Groningen verhuizen. Ik ben een rustige, zelfstandige en verantwoordelijke huurder. Netheid en respect voor de woonomgeving vind ik erg belangrijk. Ik zorg ervoor dat mijn kamer en de gezamenlijke ruimtes altijd schoon en opgeruimd zijn en houd rekening met mijn buren en eventuele huisgenoten. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag en besteed ik veel tijd aan mijn studie. Ik rook niet en ben geen feestganger. Ik ben vriendelijk, sociaal en gemakkelijk in de omgang, maar waardeer ook een rustige woonomgeving waar iedereen zich prettig voelt. I’m Markus, a 26-year-old Medical Engineering student from JKU/Austria. I’ll be studying at TU/e in Eindhoven as part of an exchange programme, and I’m looking for accommodation from around 17 August until the end of January. I’m generally pretty relaxed and enjoy spending time with other people, but I’m also perfectly happy doing my own thing. When it comes to my own projects and interests, I can sometimes get a bit too invested in the details — probably an engineering thing :) In my free time I like dancing, going to the gym, running and swimming. I also play the trombone and enjoy programming, although I probably won’t be bringing the trombone to Eindhoven :)
