Hi! We’re Kate and Lucy, a couple from Uruguay, both 29 years old. We’re currently living in the Netherlands on a one-year Working Holiday Visa. We’re looking for a furnished room or apartment where we can feel at home during our stay. We’ll take great care of the place, always pay rent on time.

Nieuwe stad, nieuwe studie, nieuwe mensen — daar heb ik zin in! Ik ben Floris, bijna 18, uit Liempde (NB) en ik start deze zomer met Geschiedenis aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Ik ben nieuwsgierig en geïnteresseerd in hoe dingen zijn ontstaan en waarom de wereld eruitziet zoals hij nu is. Naast studeren ben ik graag actief bezig. Ik hockey fanatiek, speel gitaar en wil in Utrecht gaan roeien en het studentenleven ontdekken. In huis ben ik sociaal, open en makkelijk in de omgang. Ik vind het leuk om met huisgenoten om te gaan, maar ben ook prima zelfstandig en houd het netjes. Hey, so a bit of context, I'm 24, finishing up my engineering degree at RWTH Aachen and moving over from September for an internship at ASML. I just want to be upfront that I'm a low-maintenance guy who treats a home with respect, keeping things clean and the noise down. Realistically I'll be pretty busy with work most of the week, and on weekends I'm usually in Maastricht seeing friends, so the room won't see much wear and tear. I speak German, English, and Bulgarian, so language isn't an issue, and I've lived in a few different cities already so settling in somewhere new isn't really a problem for me. Hoi! Ik ben een rustige jongen uit Nijmegen die erg van gezelligheid houdt! Ik hou van films kijken, muziek luisteren, wandelen en spelletjes doen. Bovenal kan ik mij snel aanpassen aan een nieuwe omgeving en ben ik altijd klaar om iets nieuws te ontdekken zoals een nieuwe stad, een nieuwe omgeving of nieuwe mensen. Doordeweeks ga ik Civiele Techniek studeren aan de TU Delft en in het weekend ga ik per trein weer even terug naar mijn ouderlijk huis. Ik zoek kamergenoten waarmee ik gezellig kan omgaan en waarmee ik af en toe iets samen mee kan doen, maar me tegelijkertijd ook mijn eigen ding kunnen laten doen. Daarbij vind ik een feestje of evenement op zijn tijd nooit verkeerd en drink ik graag een biertje of wijntje voor de gezelligheid.

Hi! I'm Oliwer, 23, from Poland, starting my Master's in Business Development at Utrecht University this September. I'm looking for a place to settle in for the year. I've spent the last six months living in Asia, including three months renting an apartment in Singapore, so international living feels completely natural to me. Outside of work and studies I love the mountains and getting outdoors, and I'm generally an easy, low-key person to share a place with. I'm clean, quiet and a non-smoker, no pets. For a landlord, I'm a low-risk tenant. I have secured work that I do online from home, so I'll be around during the day and keep the place in order. My income is backed by DUO financing, and my parents are able to support the deposit if needed. If it helps with the paperwork, I can sign the contract through my own sole proprietorship. I work online alongside my studies, so I spend a good amount of time at home working and studying, and I take good care of shared spaces and always communicate clearly and promptly with landlords and housemates. Financially, I'm covered mainly by my parents, with part of my income coming from my own online work, so rent will always be paid on time. I'm flexible on exact location and open to nearby towns and villages, as I mainly need good transport links to my university. I’m 26y and I’ll be starting a two-year Master's in Research Psychology at the University of Groningen this September :) If everything goes according to plan, I’d also like to continue with a PhD afterwards, so I’m looking for a place where I can stay long-term. My daily routine pretty much looks like this: some exercise/sports in the morning, the classes during the day and here and there working in the evening (mostly likely babysitting). I have a good amount of savings and I also receive financial support from my family.
