I've spent the past year living independently in Austria, sharing a flat. That year taught me the habits that make shared living actually work: keeping common areas consistently clean, paying rent on the date it's due without reminders, and respecting that other people live there too. Non-smoker, no pets. I'm comfortable sharing a space with a roommate. I can mind my own business when someone needs quiet or space, and I'm just as happy to sit and talk, share a coffee, or have dinner together. I read the room and adjust. What I'm not is someone who throws parties or has constant guests over. I worked in hotel maintenance for a while, handling real repair jobs like fixing leaking toilets and showers, assembling furniture, and general upkeep around the property. I treat appliances and fixtures carefully so they last, and I flag issues early instead of letting small things grow. I've also worked as a waiter at large events, which keeps me grounded and good at reading rooms. Outside of uni I run my own side projects in business and tech, so I spend most evenings focused at a desk. Financially stable: my studies and rent are covered through family support, and I can send proof of funds, ID, and university admission whenever useful. I speak English, Romanian, and Russian fluently, and I plan to start learning Dutch before I arrive. Flexible on move-in, July or August both work for me. Hoi! Ik ben Lily (19) en ik ga komend studiejaar Pedagogische Wetenschappen studeren aan de Rijksuniversiteit in Groningen. Op dit moment woon ik nog op kamers in Nijmegen waar ik ook pedagogische wetenschappen studeer, maar ga aankomend schooljaar de switch maken naar Groningen. Natuurlijk ben ik daar opzoek naar een kamer, hopelijk met gezellige huisgenootjes die samen dingen willen ondernemen. Wat over mij: ik ben rustig maar sociaal, ik hou van gezellig kletsen en lachen en hoop dan ook op huisgenootjes die dit ook graag doen! Daarnaast doe ik aan circus-theater en hou ik van een musicals op zijn tijd. Ik werk nu naast school al zo'n 2 jaar achter de kassa, maar ik de vakantie doe ik aan animatiewerk. Ik hou van koken en bakken; ik ben niet de beste kok, maar ik vind het heel leuk om gekke receptjes te proberen.
