Hi, I’m Niklas. I’m 24 years old and studying architecture. I’m currently about to finish my bachelor’s degree at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. I’ve been accepted into the master’s program at TU Delft and will be starting my studies next semester. That’s why I’m looking for a place to live in Delft. I’m preferably looking for a long-term rental starting in August. A few facts about me: I’m an active guy who really enjoys sports. I ride a roadbike, run a lot, and love playing volleyball or beach volleyball with friends. Besides sports, I enjoy spending time with friends, relaxing in the evenings with a few beers and card games, or cooking together with others. I would describe myself as open-minded and someone who enjoys meeting new people. I also make sure the apartment stays neat and clean so that everyone feels comfortable and at home. Since moving to Aachen, I’ve been living in the same shared apartment with two other students. I really enjoy living with nice roommates. Most of my free time somehow ends up in the studio making jewelry or metal sculptures, which I genuinely love. I’d say I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and easygoing person. I like having a warm and comfortable home atmosphere, where everyone feels relaxed and at ease. Outside of work, I’m into cooking, dinners with friends, jazz music, and all the small cozy things that make a place feel like home. I’m also a very tidy person and I genuinely like cleanliness — to the point where I actually clean when I’m stressed, which I guess is not the worst coping mechanism to have 😅 I’m respectful of shared spaces and pretty mindful of the people I live with.
