Hello! I'm Rúben and I am from Portugal. I'm a pianist and a newcomer to Maastricht. My musical interests vary a lot but I have a particular deep passion for both contemporary music and video game soundtracks. I am part of a quite active quartet and so most of the time I am busy scheduling concerts and rehearsals for us. My hobbies are quite minimal: reading, writing a bit, and playing on the Switch. At least twice a week I also like to go out running, truly only so I can say I do some sport. Now about behaviour, although I am quite social I am a very quiet person, this means that I will always try to the little noise with others around (however, just to be clear, if left alone, I may just leave music a bit loud...). I also like to schedule my time on the kitchen, I usually cook for the next two to three days so I'll be taking at least 1h30/2h of the kitchen's at least twice or thrice a week. About me: alongside my studies I work as an IT administrator (it's remote, so it continues after I move). Outside of that I'm into philosophy, I read a lot, and I like long walks to clear my head. I have no pets. Financially, my parents act as guarantors, and I can provide proof of enrolment, a guarantor statement with income documents and bank statements immediately. A two-month deposit is no problem. I don't speak Dutch yet, but I'm starting a course at the university in September. Until then I'm happy to communicate in English or German. In mijn vrije tijd kijk ik graag films, thuis of in de bioscoop, game ik en speel ik korfbal.
