Hi! I'm a 25-year-old Swiss student moving to Amsterdam for 6 months to work in the administration of a well-known restaurant as part of my studies. I'll be there from August to January. A bit about me: I'm super easy-going, clean, and I genuinely enjoy cooking and keeping things tidy around the house. Non-smoker. Fluent in French and English, and I understand German pretty well too. In my free time I love traveling, exploring new places, and going for a swim whenever I can. Back home I play golf and ski, and I'm always up for a relaxed apéro with housemates. Hi everyone! I’m Nils, 24, and about to start my Master’s degree (Modern and Contemporary History) in Utrecht after wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Political Science and History. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in gastronomy as a bartender and waiter – first in my father's restaurant back in Nuremberg and later while studying in Mainz. It keeps me on my toes, makes me easy to talk to, and taught me how to actually keep things clean without being weird about it. Having lived in WGs for the past 4 years, I know how shared flats work: I completely respect personal space, but I’m always down for cooking together, grabbing a cold beer, or having a good chat in the kitchen (I also love cooking for people while trying out new recipes). When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually into photography, music, and politics. I’ve been more or less active in left-wing politics for years, through which I’ve met incredible people and gained new perspectives, keeping me pretty open-minded and engaged with what’s going on around me.
