I'm a long-time self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) pursuing fluency in Dutch, recently relocated the Netherlands (Feb. 1st, 2026) via a DAFT Visa. I have a valid residence permit, a network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, and am currently staying in Huizen. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Bussum and LOVE Baarn. I have excellent references, rental history, and would be delighted to be the dream tenant you hope for, far beyond just the standard financial responsibility. I care for my space, have a green thumb, and love people, adore animals, art, golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home.
