I plan on settling into my new home in Amsterdam in June 2026, and will work part-time after getting settled in. I’m willing to rent sooner for the right home to avoid housing chaos. I love travelling and have visited my family in Italy since I was 6 months old. I’m very passionate about non-car centric city planning, which is why I’m going to Amsterdam to study it since I believe they have the best cities in the world. I hope to take that knowledge of the Netherlands and bring it back to the USA to help improve our car-centric cities here. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s at University of Amsterdam to study Human Geography and Planning, eventually gaining a Masters in a related field. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to. Having lived with roommates the past 2 years, I’m more than happy to share a space with others and I keep common areas very tidy. I’m excited to meet people from around the world and experience my next chapter.

Hey, ik ben Lucas. Ik ben 18 jaar oud en ik ga aankomend schooljaar beginnen aan mijn opleidin scheikunde aan Radboud universiteit in Nijmegen. Aangezien het 2 uur reizen is met OV vanaf IJsselmuiden zoek ik een plekje wat dichter in de buurt. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, leer ik graag over nieuwe dingen en ga ik graag met vrienden om. Ik sport nu ongeveer 5 à 6 dagen in een week, maar ik weet uiteraard nog niet hoe dat gaat zijn zodra ik eenmaal studeer. Sociaal contact is voor mij geen probleem dus ik zal geen problemen hebben met mogelijke huisgenoten.
