From September onwards I will study "Social Challenges, Policies, and Interventions" in Utrecht and after a few years in Nijmegen I am now ready to make a new city my home. Besides my studies I love to be in nature, work on creative projects like knitting or sewing, cook, play Volleyball, and spend time with my friends. From my time studying in Nijmegen I already have lots of experience living with other people and like to think that I am a clean, open-minded and uncomplicated roommate to live with. While I don't speak Dutch fluently yet, I understand it almost fluently and am also doing a course to further learn the language! For my new home I would prefer to live with roommates that also like to spend time together every now and then but I also understand that this is not always possible, which is okay. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household.
