Hallo, Ik werk op dit moment als trainster communicatie: ik geef en schrijf trainingen. In het verleden werkte ik als radiojournaliste waarbij ik zowel werkzaam was bij de culturele redactie als eindredactie deed van het medische programma. Daarnaast ben ik deeltijd student van de international minor Philosophy waar bij mijn focus ligt op argumentatie en debat wat op dit moment erg populair is in communicatie trainingen. Ik studeerde Algemene Sociale Wetenschappen aan de universiteit Utrecht. Dit is een combinatie van psychologie, sociologie en antropologie, ik heb er destijds enorm van genoten. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!

After walks, I always clean them properly before bringing them inside. I’ll wash them every two weeks to keep them clean. Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad. I take off my shoes when entering the home and always keep the place clean and well-maintained. I will arrive in the Netherlands on July 17, but I am able to start paying rent immediately if needed.
