Greetings, My name is Matěj. I am a 23-year-old student who grew up in Prague, Czechia. In August, I have successfully graduated with honours from the three year bachelor programme of Economics and Business Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. From September, I am continuing my studies in the Netherlands at University van Amsterdam where I am attending Master’s in Finance.  Throughout the three years of living abroad, I have learned to take care of myself and my immediate surroundings. I am a very tidy individual, who enjoys cooking, cycling, and playing squash or tennis in my free time. During my time renting in Amsterdam, I have been commended for my ability to resolve problems proactively and in a timely manner, as well as for my cleanliness and communication skills. I can ask my previous landlord for a recommendation letter if needed. Currently, I am looking for a place to call home for the duration of my Master’s studies. I am looking for a rental contract that starts ASAP, as I currently have nowhere to live in the Netherlands. As I am a student, I have a guarantor to take care of my rent and additional expenses. Hi! I’m Wiktoria, 22 years old, from Poland, and I recently moved to the Netherlands to start my Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I’m a calm, responsible and respectful person. I really value a clean and peaceful home, good communication and respecting other people’s privacy. During the past year I lived in an international student residence in Rome, so I am already very used to sharing a home and taking care of a rented property. Ideally, I am looking for a place together with my friend Maria, who is also 22, Polish and studying the same Master’s programme at VU. We are both friendly, tidy and focused on our studies, and we are looking for a stable place where we can feel at home for the academic year or longer. However, I am also open to renting a room individually. Financially, we can provide proof of sufficient funds and, if required, our parents can act as guarantors and provide proof of their income. We can also provide our VU enrolment documents and any other documentation needed for the rental process. We are flexible with viewings and can make a decision quickly if the place is a good fit.
