Hoi! My name is Carla, and I’m currently looking for housing starting in May, June, July, or August in Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, The Hague, or surrounding areas. I’m originally from Germany and I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology at Utrecht University. I’ve been living in Utrecht since August and have truly fallen in love with the city. Alongside my studies, I work part-time at Albert Heijn and I am completing my internship at Heineken, which keeps me happily busy. At the moment, I live in a house with six other roommates, and it has been an amazing experience. If you know of a place suitable for one person (or even something larger), I would also be happy to move together with one of my current housemates, as we have been living together this past year and it has worked very well. I would describe myself as clean, tidy, responsible and easygoing. I live a calm lifestyle, as I’m usually focused on work, my internship and my studies. Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. Currently I’m working on ‘The End of History’ hypothesis, and the ‘Dialectic of Enlightenment’. Would be happy to send a link to a book I published. Please feel free to ask any questions.
