Heya! My name is Tomás (Thomas works too), I'm Portuguese, from Lisbon, and moving to Delft in September for my first year at TU Delft. First time living abroad, pretty excited about it. I'm very into sports. I run (half marathons and mountain trails), swim and cycle regularly, and I'm working towards doing an Ironman at some point. Also go to the gym pretty often, no leg days though 😂 I’m social in a pretty natural and low-pressure way, I like hanging out, but I’m not forcing it. I’ll join for shared meals, spontaneous plans and fun sidequests. I just like a place where everyone feels comfortable and natural, i’ll do whatever you guys are down for. I’m not loud or chaotic, but I’m definitely not closed off either, somewhere in the middle I keep things clean, I take the shared space seriously and have no issue with chores or general house stuff. Also still figuring out cooking but it's a work in progress 😂 Also pretty into tech, I can go deep on it if you're curious or completely shut up about it if you're not English isn't my first language but I use it constantly and it's never been an issue. In Lisbon, tourists and immigrants often think I’m not local because my English sounds fluent without a strong or weird accent.

I consider myself a good conversationalist, I'm respectful of other people's spaces, I like to meet new people. In the house you can find me either playing videogames, cooking, reading a book and if I'm not doing any of that it's because I'm out at work or hanging out with friends

I'm an active person who enjoys climbing more than I like to walk. Working fulltime in the indoor climbing industry, therefore I'm looking for a place for a long term stay. What's most important to me in being roommates is good communication and a friendly and respectful atmosphere. Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment.
