We are both masters students at Utrecht University, and have lived in Utrecht for some years now. Trisha is finishing her RMA in Literary Studies and is working at the university as well, and Althéa is starting her RMA in Science & Business Management, and will also be working alongside her degree. We both have experience renting in Utrecht, and would say that we are responsible tenants who are looking for a calm place to live to finish our masters. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Hoi! Ik ben Minthe en ik kom uit Zuid-Limburg. Aankomend schooljaar ga ik Bouwkunde studeren aan de HAN in Arnhem, dus ik ben op zoek naar een fijne kamer omdat de reistijd anders echt te lang wordt. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief: ik speel tennis en ga het liefst elk jaar op wintersport. Daarnaast hou ik van gezellige dingen op z’n tijd, zoals spelletjesavonden, samen eten of een filmavond.
