Hi, I'm Jonghae, 27, from South Korea. I lived in Amsterdam in 2022–2023 and I've just moved back on a working holiday visa. I'm currently looking for work in hospitality. From September 2027 I'll be starting a BSc in Economics and Business Economics at VU Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a long-term place rather than a short stay. About me: I'm quiet and tidy, I cook a lot, and I keep to a regular routine. I'm not a party person, but I'm always up for a meal or a drink with housemates. I've lived in shared houses before — a year here in Amsterdam and a year in Australia — so I know how to keep a shared kitchen usable. On the practical side: since I'm still job-hunting I don't have a Dutch employment contract yet, but I have enough savings to cover my stay, and I'm happy to pay a higher deposit or several months of rent in advance.
