I am moving over to Enschede this August to start my Bachelor's in Computer Science at the University of Twente, so I'm looking for a long-term room or studio starting around August or September. A bit about me: I'm a very clean, responsible, and non-smoking student. When I'm not studying, I play tennis, crochet, sing a bit, and love just exploring new places. I am always happy to share a movie night or cook a meal with housemates, but I also completely respect everyone's private space and study time. Financially everything is fully sorted on my end. My rent is covered directly by my official French state student grant (CROUS échelon 7, which gives me €633.50 a month) and my dad is fully covering my tuition and acting as my guarantor for other expenses. Dat is een nieuwe stap waar ik ontzettend naar uitkijk, en daarom hoop ik een prettige plek te vinden om deze periode van mijn leven te starten. Ik ben een rustig, sociaal en verantwoordelijk persoon. Ik houd mijn woonruimte graag netjes en vind het belangrijk om rekening te houden met de mensen om me heen. Een fijne en respectvolle woonomgeving betekent veel voor mij. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik vaak te vinden op het voetbalveld of in de sportschool. Daarnaast luister ik graag naar muziek (uiteraard met een koptelefoon) en bezoek ik regelmatig een filmhuis. Ik geniet van een rustige en gezellige sfeer en ben geen feestganger. Hi, I’m moving from Germany to Delft or The Hague to start my master’s in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft. Outside university, I’m really into sports. At the moment that mostly means running and cycling, but I’m generally up for trying pretty much anything and have been thinking about picking up football again. I’m also a big fan of spontaneous plans, whether that means going for a run, heading to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a beer somewhere. I like learning new things and can easily get drawn into a good discussion or some random topic I suddenly want to understand. Recently I’ve also picked up reading again after some peer pressure from friends, and I’m actually enjoying it. I’m using the rest of August to learn as much Dutch as I can. I’m still a beginner, but I’d like to improve quickly once I’m living there and can actually use it every day. I’ve already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor’s, so I know what it’s like to share a home with other people. Ideally, I’d like to live somewhere where people occasionally cook together, hang out or spontaneously do something, rather than just sharing a kitchen and never seeing each other. At the same time, I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing as well. Right now I’m mainly hoping to find a place where I can settle in before the semester starts.
