Beste verhuurder, Wij zijn Lars en Hanna. Wij zijn nette, rustige huurders, niet-rokend, zonder huisdieren en met een stabiele financiële situatie. Indien gewenst kunnen onze ouders garant staan. Lars is 25 jaar oud en is werkzaam in de software- en datasector. Hanna is 23 jaar oud en zit in de afrondende fase van haar studie Diergeneeskunde en werkt daarnaast bij het Universitair Dierenziekenhuis. Wij zijn al 4 jaar heel gelukkig samen en willen daarom heel graag de stap maken naar samenwonen. Lars moet komende zomer zijn huidige woning verlaten omdat deze verkocht wordt. Daar begint de tijd nog meer te dringen voor ons. Daarom hopen we heel erg dat we voor deze tijd een fijne plek kunnen vinden waar we ons helemaal thuis kunnen voelen. My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). This gives me already a notion of what it is like living in the Netherlands. Additionally we have 2 small dogs. Well behaved, trained and used to live indoors. Because of that we are open to pay a caution of value that you see fit. To show you we are serious in staying in the Netherlands and that we are able to deal with rental we are open to pay upfront X months of rent (depending on the rent amount). We can move in on the first weeks of March. As we are in Portugal currently we are not able to visit the apartment. If it is possible it would be ideal if we could do the visit via videocall or by sending a friend to see the house for us. We are open to any questions you may have.
