I am looking for a place to rent for the next 6 months as I have just returned from my student exchange and my previous room is unavailable. I am a Physics student at RUG, originally from the UK but attended international schools in Thailand, China, Tanzania and Angola, so am used to getting along with all kinds of people. I enjoy power-lifting and go to the gym most days, and I like to cook. Ideally, I'd like a place with a shared kitchen and living room so I can socialise with other housemates, but then have my own room to go to when I want to chill. I’m a 23-year-old Computer Science student from Verona, Italy. I will be coming to Eindhoven as an Erasmus exchange student at TU/e and I’m looking for accommodation from 1st February until the end of June, with the possibility to extend to July. In my daily life I’m generally calm, focused, and quite independent; I usually follow my own routine and enjoy having a cozy room where I can feel comfortable and safe. At the same time, I really appreciate small, relaxed moments with flatmates when they come naturally: things like a quiet walk, a casual chat, or a simple outing with a small group. I’m not into big parties or loud nights, so you can expect a peaceful and considerate presence at home. I’m also very organized, respectful of shared spaces, and mindful of privacy and house rules. Cleanliness is important to me, and I always try to keep common areas tidy. Financially, I’m fully covered by an Erasmus scholarship intended for living expenses, so rent and bills will always be paid on time. Outside of studies, I’m quite active and love spending time outdoors. My main passion is cycling, which I practice at an amateur level. I also enjoy hiking and skiing in the Dolomites, and I follow Formula 1 with interest. I’m fascinated by mechanics and engineering (I often work on my own bike) and I’m also curious about finance and analytical mathematics, especially topics related to investing. Currently, however, I'm on an exchange programme in China so I'm looking for a new place to live for when I return. Due to the distance I will unfortunately not be able to attent viewings in person, only online. A little about me: I'm a very sociable and easygoing Italian-German girl that enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time outside and always tries to find new things to do. My friends would describe me as an open-minded person, that smiles most of the time, although I might be quite shy and reserved in the beginning. I love cooking, especially Italian, Thai recipes, or trying out new 10 minute recepies that turn out to be one hour long. I have a passion for learning new languages (Chinese at the moment). I'm very used to sharing space as I already lived with other people twice and in China I'm currently living in a shared 12 square meter room and share common facilities (showers, toilets, and washingmachines) with other 80 people. Besides my studies, I love anything art related, including drawing, painting, film photography etc. I'm also very into films, as I worked at a cinema in Groningen, so I'm always up for a good movie night, as I honestly like watching anything from romcoms to horror movies to experimental films. i enjoy cooking and baking and love trying out new recipes and sharing them with people.
