Hello there! :) I’m Stella, 25, Italian, and currently living in France, where I’ve just completed my Master’s degree. I’ll be moving to the Netherlands in October to start working, and I’m currently looking for a room in Leiden, The Hague, or the surrounding areas, with a budget of up to €800/month. I’m a sociable and community-oriented person and I really enjoy having a nice atmosphere at home. I like cooking and sharing meals (vegetarian ones, specifically!), but I’m equally happy if everyone prefers to do their own thing. I’m easygoing and adaptable, and I’m used to living with other people. I’m respectful of shared spaces and consider myself clean and tidy. I speak Italian and English, as well as some French, and I’d be very happy to learn some Dutch (or any other language spoken in the house)! :) In my free time, I’m a bit of an all-rounder. I love reading and watching movies, but I also love being outdoors and going for long walks and hikes. I crochet, I’m currently learning embroidery, and I am a big vintage clothing and antiquary fan. I also like yoga, swimming, and running. Career-wise, I’m currently looking for opportunities in the NGO sector and/or in economic research, which is what I specialised in during my Master’s. In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household. Hey toekomstige huisgenoten/verhuurder, Ik ben een derdejaars bachelorstudent (22) en ik zoek een plek in de regio Haaglanden, bij voorkeur in Den Haag of Leiden. Momenteel woon ik in een antikraakpand in Den Haag waar de sloopplannen binnenkort plaatsvinden. Daarom ben ik dringend op zoek naar een nieuwe woonplek! Een beetje over mezelf: ik kom uit Bergen op Zoom, ik hou van reizen en kunst. Een van de redenen dat ik graag in de regio Haaglanden wil blijven, is vanwege de aanwezige kunstcultuur hier. Ik heb gereisd binnen de EU, maar ook daarbuiten (Canada, Kenia).
