A little bit about myself: I am from Cyprus, I’m 22 years old and i’m moving from Amsterdam to Rotterdam to do a Maritime and Transport Law masters degree in the Erasmus University :) Fun fact: this will actually be my second master’s degree! I just finished my LLM in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam. Before that, I lived in Groningen for three years where i did my bachelors degree. So I think it’s fair to say I’ve become quite attached to the Netherlands, I already know (and genuinely enjoy) the Dutch lifestyle, which makes staying here for another year feel like just a very natural next step. I love reading and cooking and even sometimes sharing meals with friends. I love going to concerts and seeing my favourite artists live, and I also appreciate spending time outdoors, whether it's exploring the city, going on a bike rides to see the sunset or organizing fun and vibey hangouts with friends! Back in Amsterdam, I briefly started going to pilates, which i found surprisingly fun!! I also had a part-time job there which I am planning on continuing in Rotterdam,so apart from uni, i will also work a few days a week!! I have been living with 2 roommates for the past 4 years here in the Netherlands, and we built a great routine and balance when it comes to sharing space. As this is now my fifth year living abroad and sharing housing, I am used to cohabiting respectfully and maintaining a tidy, clean and quiet environment, which obviously includes cleaning up after yourself, sharing chores, but also being transparent with one another! I am genuinely happy when the house feels lively and vibrant and at the same time I also understand when we want to have our quiet moments and privacy.

Maar ik geniet net zo goed van rustige momenten waarop ik me op mijn studie kan concentreren. Ik pas heel regelmatig op kinderen en huisdieren, en ik vind het heerlijk om met onze hond te wandelen. Hi there, I am looking for a room or a studio in Amsterdam starting in July. I've lived in Amsterdam since September 2025 and have come here for my university studies. I will be continuing into my second year of studying Human Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Amsterdam in September of this year. I am looking for a place where registration is possible, and I am ideally looking for somewhere that I can stay for over a year. I’m a German and Canadian citizen, but I was originally born in Bali until I was 12. Before moving to Amsterdam last year, I lived in Berlin for 3 years, where I was studying and received my International Baccalaureate diploma. I took a year off from studying, during which I volunteered for 3 months at a yoga retreat center outside of Barcelona. After my volunteering experience, I moved back to Berlin, where I was working as a waitress and then full-time as a receptionist at a boutique hotel. I'm a respectful tenant and value keeping my personal space clean and organized. I value keeping a healthy routine for myself by going to the gym or joining workout classes and cooking healthy, nutritious meals. Ik ben Joost, 24 jaar, studeer/woon momenteel in Delft, en kom de komende twee jaar een master natuurkunde studeren in Enschede. Ik ben lekker actief, open en energiek, dit zie je terug in dat ik de afgelopen jaren veel commissies heb gedaan en dit jaar actief was bij meerdere verenigingen. Dit jaar was ik actief bij de zeilvereniging, improvisatie theater groep, en ultimate frisbee vereniging. Ook hardlopen of een echt goede breinkraker vind ik heel leuk. Thuis ben ik juist vaak rustiger. Als ik bij jullie kom wonen is dit ook wat ik meeneem, rust en intresse afgewisseld met enthousiasme. Ik kan zowel uitgebreid als simpel/efficient koken en haal echt veel plezier uit baksels maken voor anderen (dit is echt zo, m'n frisbeeteam kan het beamen).
