Hi! I’m an incoming international Master’s student at TU Delft, where I will be studying Architecture. I’m looking for a room in Delft or nearby from August. I would describe myself as a calm, clean, respectful, and well-organized housemate. I’m used to taking care of my living space and I value a comfortable, tidy home where everyone respects each other’s privacy and routines. At the same time, I’m friendly and social, and I enjoy having a nice conversation, sharing a meal, or occasionally spending time together with housemates. My daily routine is quite balanced: studying, working on projects, going to the gym or cycling, and cooking at home. I especially enjoy baking and making pastries, so I’d be happy to occasionally share something homemade with the house. In my free time, I like camping trips, travelling, visiting exhibitions, and going to museums. I’m very interested in art, architecture, and culture, which is one of the reasons I’m excited to move to the Netherlands and study at TU Delft. Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik werkte ik in een boeddhistisch centrum en een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology.
