Vanwege mijn werk als docent cello in de regio Utrecht en als freelance cellist ben ik werkzaam in orkesten waarvoor ik veel reis. Ik ben gek op de bossen waar ik graag hardloop en wandel. Die zijn niet zo te vinden in Leiden. Ik bezoek de nodige musea en ben te vinden in verschillende koffiebarretjes en bakkertjes. Daarnaast ben ik een hele nette, trouwe en sociale huurder. Hekel aan vieze vaat waardoor ik gelijk alles afwas want een vaatwasmachine is niet (altijd) aanwezig. Tot slot, wonen in de regio Utrecht zou een hoop rust brengen waardoor ik weer tijd heb om mijn familie en vrienden te bezoeken en leuke dingen te doen!

In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household.
