Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. Ik ben afgestudeerd in 2D Animation aan de HKU en ben inmiddels al een jaar bezig om mijn professionele leven en netwerk in Haarlem op te bouwen. Zelfs toen ik nog op en neer reisde (4 uur per dag 😉) deed ik dat met plezier, omdat ik me hier echt thuis voel. Ik ben in Haarlem begonnen als studente aan een academisch atelier en ben nu in opleiding om daar uiteindelijk ook les te geven. Daarnaast werk ik parttime bij Ekoplaza en bij Volkslust café/restaurant in de stad. Beide plekken zijn hele gezellige teams, wat het landen hier extra fijn heeft gemaakt. In het dagelijks leven ben ik vooral bezig met mijn professionele en artistieke ontwikkeling. In mijn vrije tijd lees ik graag, maak ik lange wandelingen, ontdek ik nieuwe plekken of kijk ik af en toe een film of speel ik een game. Zodra ik wat meer gesetteld ben, wil ik ook weer Italiaans oppakken en vaker yoga doen. Ik ben rustig, netjes en sociaal. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een huis schoon en prettig aanvoelt. I’m a Master’s student at TU Delft with a full scholarship, who also works part time as an Engineer remotely. I live with my partner, who is a PhD Employee in TU Delft starting November 2025 (meaning we have stable income). My partner has lived in the NL since 2023 for his Master’s degree in TU Delft, and I joined him near the end of 2025. Our current housing only lasts until March 2026 due to renovation purposes. We are a clean, organised, and quiet couple, and hope to be able to relocate to a housing with longterm contract.

De financiële sector was niet voor mij, dus 2 maart ben ik begonnen als IT trainee bij Qquest in Utrecht. Eerder heb ik een jaar in Tilburg op kamers gewoond, omdat ik daar toen studeerde. Mijn vrienden omschrijven mij als rustig, betrouwbaar en zelfstandig. Doordeweeks kijk ik graag films, doe ik aan fitness en voetbal ik bij DVSU (Lunetten). Verder heb ik geen huisdieren en rook ik niet. Mijn salaris is €2765 per maand (inclusief vakantiegeld).
