I’m Cristina, 25 years old, and I’ve been living in Amsterdamfor a while now. Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Hey! Ik ben Ben, een enthousiaste student die volgend jaar Mechanical Engineering gaat studeren aan de TU Delft (ja, ik heb blijkbaar besloten om het mezelf niet makkelijk te maken 😅). Ik kom uit België, dus een kamer vinden in Delft staat bovenaan mijn to-do lijst. Ik hou van nieuwe mensen leren kennen en vind het super tof om samen leuke momenten te beleven. Buiten mijn studies ben ik ook sportief, ik doe al 12 jaar Japanse JuJitsu en zwem daarnaast ook graag. Muziek spreekt me enorm aan, ook al heb ik mijn trompet al een tijdje aan de kant gezet. Hallo! Bij deze zal ik kort wat over mezelf vertellen en waarom ik (met lichte spoed) een kamer zoek: Ik ben dit jaar toegelaten in mijn droomstudie (ZGS)! Ik heb de afgelopen twee jaar in de tussentijd in Groningen gestudeerd en in een appartement daar op kamers gewoond. Van Groningen naar het campus in Utrecht reizen elke dag is helaas echt niet te doen (+2,5u enkele reis). Daarom zoek ik met lichte spoed een kamer/appartement/studio voor aankomend studiejaar (en evt langer). Ik heb nu 2 jaar in een appartement gewoond, exclusief, waarbij ik dus alle verantwoordelijkheden ken. Ik heb met mijn huidige verhuurder altijd fijn en voorspoedig contact gehad. Mijn ouders staan ook volledig garant voor de financiering. Hierdoor is huur (en andere kosten) betalen voor mij geen probleem. Ik ben zelf een verantwoordelijke en vrolijke student. Ik ben vooral gericht op sporten (paardrijden, hardlopen, sportschool), studie (zorg, gezondheid, samenleving), en mijn vrienden. Ik hoop enorm een fijn plekje te vinden voordat de introductie weken beginnen, zodat ik niet het begin van het jaar hoef te missen.
