Hi, My name is Alexandra, I am 21 and I am from Slovakia. I study Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft and from September I will start my second year. I am looking for a room in Delft from August (or earlier if possible) and ideally a place where I can stay longer. I would describe myself as a calm, tidy and easy-going person. During the week I study quite a lot, so I really value a clean and relaxed home environment. At the same time, I am social and I enjoy spending time together – cooking, having dinner, a glass of wine or just chatting in the kitchen. In my free time I like sports, travelling, music and spending time with friends. I am a non-smoker and I don’t have pets. I am used to living in shared housing in Delft, so I am respectful of others and shared spaces. I am ideally looking for a friendly and somewhat calm house, but I am flexible and open-minded about the house dynamic. In die tijd hadden we een fijne balans tussen samen zijn en elkaar ruimte geven. We waren altijd in voor een praatje, kookten af en toe samen, of brachten een avond met elkaar door, maar we gaven elkaar ook de ruimte om onze eigen routines en sociale contacten te behouden. We spraken vaak met vrienden buiten de woning af, zodat we elkaar niet stoorden, en gingen bewust om met geluid en bezoek, en hielden het huis samen netjes. Zo creëerden we een rustige en prettige omgeving. Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als rustig, respectvol, netjes, attent en makkelijk in de omgang. Ik vind het fijn om gedeelde ruimtes schoon en comfortabel te houden, en ik waardeer een vriendelijke sfeer thuis – of dat nu betekent een praatje maken, af en toe samen koken of gewoon gezellig samen zijn. I will arrive in Holland in July and will study Dutch at the TU Delft Language Institute the first year, so I can start my architecture study (in Dutch) in September 2027. I choose TU Delft because I love Holland and have been there many times to visit family as my mom is Dutch and she also studied at TU Delft.
