My name is Lorenzo, I’m a 26-year-old PhD student from Italy, and I’m looking for a room, studio, or apartment in Delft (or nearby well-connected areas) from October 1st, 2026, to March 31st, 2027 (6 months). I need a place where municipality registration (inschrijven) is possible, and I’m open to both standard contracts and sublets. I hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Padova, and I will be at TU Delft for a 6-month research visit in Computational Fluid Dynamics at the Process & Energy Department. My stay is fully funded. I have over 7 years of experience in shared housing, so I’m very used to co-living routines. I am clean, organized, quiet, and respectful of shared spaces. In my free time, I enjoy cooking dinners, playing board games, or going for outdoor walks with flatmates, while always respecting everyone's privacy and space. Since I am currently in Italy, I won't be able to attend viewings in person, but I would be happy to schedule a video call to meet and see the room. I have just been admitted to university ( Academie voor Popcultuur); I am an international female student aged 18 and i am looking forward to starting my studies in Leeuwarden.

I'm naturally curious and enjoy discovering new cultures, exploring new cities, travelling, photography and playing badminton. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and believe that some of the best learning happens outside the classroom. At home, I appreciate a clean, peaceful and respectful environment. I'm considerate, tidy and easy to live with—I enjoy spending time with others, but I also value quiet evenings to study, read or simply recharge. I'm looking for a long-term room or studio with BRP registration, ideally in The Hague or within a reasonable commuting distance. My accommodation is fully supported by my parents, and I also have a local support network in the Netherlands, including a family friend who can act as a guarantor if needed. After settling into university life, I hope to find a part-time job to gain experience and become more involved in the local community. However, my studies will always remain my top priority. More than just finding a place to stay, I'm hoping to find a home where everyone feels comfortable, respected and welcome.
