Hoi, dit ben ik. Voor de komende 4 jaar zoek ik een gezellig en actief studentenhuis met een paar leuke huisgenoten. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Hi! I'm Jorge, 33 years old, originally from Spain and recently moved to the Netherlands for work. I'm quite calm and easy-going. At first I'm usually a bit quiet, but once I get to know people I really enjoy having a good relationship with my roommates, sharing a chat or doing something together from time to time. At the same time, I think everyone should have their own space and privacy. I've been living independently in Madrid since 2017 and have shared a home with several different people over the years. Lyly was my longest-term housemate, as we lived together for almost nine years, and she and Irma, one of my first housemates, became very close friends and eventually like sisters to me. Over the years, I've also shared the home with my close friend Adri for a while, which was a good reminder that living with a friend is not quite the same as just hanging out with one. I've also lived with Marina, with whom I had a friendly and respectful relationship as housemates, and later with Lyly's partner Edu, who became a very close friend through living together. So I've experienced quite different kinds of shared living, with people I was already close to as well as people I got to know through sharing a home, and I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities and dynamics. Outside work I enjoy history, nature, travelling, reading and trying new things, especially sports. I'm a tidy person (without being obsessed about it) and I like a home where everyone feels comfortable and respects each other.
