Hi, I’m Thanos. I’m a PhD student with a background in architecture, and I’m currently living in Eindhoven for an internship as a computational designer at a construction company. I’m looking for a furnished room or studio from September onward, preferably for a longer-term stay. I really like living in Eindhoven so far, and I would like to stay here after my internship as I take my next professional steps. I’m tidy, respectful, and used to living with other people. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Financieel ben ik stabiel: ik word ondersteund door mijn ouders en werk daarnaast remote voor mijn vorige universiteit. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, gym, fietsen, zeilen, en ik kook regelmatig voor vrienden. Doordeweeks ben ik meestal rustig thuis, maar in het weekend ga ik graag uit of spreek ik af met mensen. Hii, my names Amelie, I am 19 years old and from the UK. I am currently in my second year at university studying Graphics Branding and Identity at London College of Communication within UAL. As part of my course, I have been given the amazing opportunity to do an exchange term for 5 months in Amsterdam where I have been accepted into the Fashion Branding course at Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI).This will be from September 2026 to January 2027; however I would prefer to move in during August, whenever is convenient for both parties. A little about me, as a roommate and as a person. I am clean, respectful and polite, most days I will be out at university or in my room studying so will be super quiet and easy to live with. I do love the occasional catch up in the kitchen as I get on really well with anyone and love to make new friends but can just as easily keep to myself and not be a bother. As a person, I love music, movies and fashion - more for consumption then creation. I love to travel as much as I can with my favourite places being Thailand, Rome and China however this will be my first time visiting Amsterdam. Hoi! Ik ben Hanna, 18 jaar, en na de zomer begin ik aan mijn tweede jaar Geneeskunde in Leiden. Ik woon nu nog in Haarlem, maar het is de hoogste tijd om een eigen, fijne uitvalsbasis in Leiden te vinden! Wie ben ik? Ik ben een actief, spontaan en ondernemend persoon. Ik zit absoluut niet graag stil: ik heb 13 jaar op judo gezeten, ben sinds dit voorjaar lentelid bij Asopos om te leren roeien (met de ambitie om na de zomer echt lid te worden) en ik sport regelmatig met vrienden bij het USC. Daarnaast houd ik enorm van lezen; ik zit in een erg leuk boekenclubje waardoor ik telkens nieuwe genres ontdek. Oh, en een klein willekeurig weetje over mij: ik leer inmiddels al 7 jaar Chinees, gewoon omdat ik het een prachtige en boeiende taal vind! Hoe ben ik in huis? Ik zoek een plek waar ik me echt thuis kan voelen. In een studentenhuis vind ik het heerlijk om samen te koken, de dag door te spreken met een kop thee op de bank, of samen de slappe lach te hebben. Tegelijkertijd ben ik best zelfstandig, heb ik mijn eigen ritme en kan ik een rustige avond op mijn kamer met een goed boek of een serie net zo erg waarderen. Ik hou van een ongedwongen sfeer: gezelligheid is altijd top, maar zonder dat het verplicht voelt. Verder vind ik een opgeruimde, schone leefomgeving ontzettend belangrijk. Je zult aan mij dan ook een betrouwbare en nette huurder/huisgenoot hebben die altijd haar steentje bijdraagt aan het huishouden en de boel netjes achterlaat. Ik ben flexibel en sta open voor zowel een gezellig (gemengd of meiden) studentenhuis als een wat rustigere kamer of studio.

I am a 54 year old professional relocating to The Hague to take up a senior position with the International Baccalaureate. I have an indefinite employment contract and am looking for a comfortable, quiet place to live within cycling distance of the IB Global Centre on Burgemeester Patijnlaan. I am friendly, independent, tidy and respectful of other people's space. I am a non smoker and would prefer to live with another non smoker. I am also very happy to share a home with pets. During September I will be working from the office full time, so I will mainly be home in the evenings to relax and sleep. After that I will work hybrid, usually three days in the office and two days from home. Approximately every other week I will travel to my home in Spain from Wednesday until Monday, so I will regularly be away for several days. I also travel a great deal for work. I am open to either a room in a shared home or a suitable independent property, furnished or unfurnished, and to both short term and long term arrangements. I am looking to move in around 31 August or 1 September. My priorities are reliable WiFi, a washing machine, a quiet environment suitable for occasional home working, and reasonable cycling distance to the IB Global Centre. I can pay the first month's rent and one month's deposit at the start of the tenancy. I am looking for somewhere that feels like a pleasant, respectful home rather than simply a place to sleep, and would be very happy to live with someone who values an easy going, considerate household.
