Hello, I'm Helene, 18, from Germany! This September, I will start my Bachelor of European Studies at UvA. I am looking for a cozy space to live and study, and preferably a friendly, sociable community to integrate into. I have previous experience living independently, since I just studied abroad in Japan for two years. I also seek accommodation with registration, and am ready to move in starting end of August or September 1rst. I’m Iga, I’m 24, and I work as a creative lead for a surf brand from the UK :) Apart from that I work with dutch journalists of documentaries and independent published books. I’m originally Polish, but I’ve lived across Asia, the US, the Nordics, and Europe with all sorts of people from all sorts of different cultures, so I am really easy-going. I very much value shared space, and I like when it’s all nice, clean and shiny aka I know when to buy toilet paper :) I’m pretty chill and quiet. Love spending time on my own, but wouldn’t say no to a beer or karaoke night. In free time I kite, run, hike, bike, and anything else that does not include a ball. Apart from that I love cinnamon buns, books, jazz, and have no talent whatsoever in keeping plants alive. If you think, I’d be a great fit for a roommate, I would love to pop for a viewing.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

I work full-time in hospitality I just moved from Australia. I’m half Dutch and can speak a bit and understand everything. And I have registration I love thrifting/secondhang shopping, surfing, swimming, watching live music bands, going to Pilates.
