Hello :-) I'm from Poland, but I lived in the UK for two years. Now, I'm in Groningen, studying physics and math at RUG. It's my second year. People tell me I'm pretty chill and super organized. I really love art and music. Drawing is something I find easy, and I play the piano. Oh, and origami! I've gotten really good at it :-) But, what I want to do in the future is science. I love talking about all sorts of things and hearing what other people think. And I've done a lot of volunteering, which has been really cool. I'm pretty independent, and I get really excited about things that interest me. But I always try to be respectful of what other people think. And if there's a science project, I'm usually in! Hi! My name is Andrea, I'm 30, Italian, and I'm moving to Amsterdam in July/August to start a Master's in Global Cross-Media Cultures at UvA this September. I work as a ghostwriter — commissioned biographies, mostly — which means I work from home, keep my own hours, and am generally a quiet presence around the house. No wild schedules, no noise, no mess. I spent years in publishing and film production before going independent, so I tend to be pretty organized and self-sufficient. I'm leaving Italy to get back into academia, pick up a side job, and be closer to my girlfriend who's already in the Netherlands. As a flatmate, I'm calm, tidy, and genuinely respectful of shared spaces — the kind of person who cleans up after himself and doesn't need to be asked twice.
