Hi, I'm Giorgos, 33, originally from Greece. I'm currently studying Computer Science at VU Amsterdam and have been living in Amsterdam since August 2025 in student housing managed by Lieven de Key. My current contract ends in August 2026, so I'm looking for a room or studio where I can stay longer term while continuing my studies. My week is split between university and part-time work as a courier in Amsterdam, so I'm usually out during the day. At home I'm quiet, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces. I enjoy exercising, watching films and exploring the city. I'm clean, social and friendly, but not a party-focused person. As a tenant, I'm reliable and financially responsible. I've always paid my rent on time and can provide a positive reference from my current housing provider if needed. I already have a BSN, DigiD, and an established rental history in Amsterdam. Starting from late August, I will be pursuing my Master’s degree in Architecture at TU Delft. Why do I think I would make a great roommate? Besides the fact that my English level allows me to keep up long conversations on many topics, I am a master of household order: I sacredly respect the unwritten code of cleanliness. I possess a unique genetic code that compels me to recap the toothpaste tube, put things back where they belong, and wash my coffee mug immediately, rather than "in five minutes." I respect my roommates' food boundaries. I never touch anyone else's yogurts in the fridge, I don't leave empty cartons inside just for show, and I know how to cook meals that won't trigger the smoke alarm. I love to cook, and I'm good at it. My culinary highlights include homemade pizza and tiramisu.
