Master's student looking for a room in Rotterdam. :)

I am an outgoing Barcelona student in my second year at university (20 years old). I am a fan of sports and like practicing any sports and having a good laugh with others over a beer. I am working June and July close to Eindhoven so I am looking for a shared flat or house to have a good time in my first time in the Netherlands.

Heyy! Ik ben Laura, 18 jaar (19 in aug), en ik begin in september aan mijn vierjarige bachelor ‘theatervormgeving’ aan de HKU in Utrecht. Ik woon momenteel in provincie groningen. Dat betekent dat ik elke dag 3 uur heen en 3 uur terug zou moeten reizen. Dus, ik zoek een kamer in/om Utrecht. Wie ben ik? Ik ben een rustige, gezellige en creatieve student. Ik teken, schilder, schets, bouw, klei, snij lino’s, bak, maak muziek, naai eigen kleding en kostuums. Ook maak ik vaak lange wandelingen en boulder ik af en toe. Ik ben Introvert, maar sta open voor een praatje en ben sociaal rondom leuke mensen. Ik ben op zoek naar een gezellig huis, met mensen die evt soms samen eten of leuke dingen doen. Ik zoek een kamer van minimaal 12 m², zodat ik ruimte heb om mooie dingen te maken. Mijn studie begint op 1 september, daarom hoop ik uiterlijk in augustus te verhuizen. Een paar maanden eerder of iets later is ook mogelijk.

I've been living and finished high school in the Hague, now transitioning to Utrecht since being admitted to the CPS programme. I am a calm, responsible and sport loving person. I play hockey and badminton hoping to continue both at university. I am a girl who can keep a space clean and organised, while also being reliable when it comes to other responsibilities. Ik ben Yeabtsega en ik zit momenteel in mijn laatste bachelorjaar in het conservatorium van Brussel. Ik studeer klassieke uitvoerende muziek, op tuba. Mijn voorstudies: Ik ben begonnen op trompet toen ik in het middelbaar zat en moest dan omschakelen naar tuba, door een beugel. Die omschakeling was pittig, maar daar door heb ik wel doorzettingsvermogen gecreëerd. […] In mijn vrije tijd zit ik in mijn vijfde en ook wel laatste jaar op de scouts, waar ik leiding geef aan verschillende leeftijden. Ik help graag mensen. Ik ben heel benieuwd en gemotiveerd om te leren hoe ik mensen kan helpen met muzikale interactie. Door mijn muzikale achtergrond helpt het me op een goede basis te vormen in muziek. Ik sta graag op het podium, waar ik mijn muziek door emoties kan brengen. Maar het liefst zou ik dit gerichter en persoonlijker willen doen. De opleiding muziektherapie in Enschede spreekt mij aan vanwege het een conservatorium is. Het muzikale gedeelte is even belangrijk als de therapie. Ik ben heel benieuwd om te zien wat mijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling zal eruit zien. Ik hoorde de term “zelfreflectie” een aantal keren vallen op de opendeurdag. Dat lijkt me al heel interessant en uitdagend.

Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary.
