Hello! I'm a 22 year-old international student and I'm going to start my Master's in European Law at Utrecht University next September. Therefore, I'm looking for a room in Utrecht from end of August 2026 (until end of August 2027). I did my Bachelor's in a city far away from my parent's home and, therefore, I am already used to living by myself and also with flatmates; moreover, last year I spent one semester in Ireland thanks to Erasmus, which allowed me to live one of the best experiences of my life! I really enjoy travelling and discovering new places and, given that I have never been to the Netherlands, I look forward to starting this new experience in September. I would say that I am a friendly and easygoing person. In the house, I'm neat and tidy and I don't smoke.

We both value a clean, respectful living space and believe we'd be reliable, low-maintenance tenants who take excellent care of the property. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar.
