Hi everyone! I’m Irene, Italian, originally from Bergamo but living in Perugia for the past two years. I’m a (forensic) psychologist, now doing my PhD in Gender Studies, but my research and daily work in Perugia are still rooted in psychology. From October I’ll be moving to Tilburg for six months for my visiting research period at Tilburg University – and that’s why I’m looking for a place to stay! Ideally, I’d love to find something in Tilburg, but I’m also open to nearby areas if they’re well connected by train. I’ve lived in Maastricht before, where I completed my MSc in Forensic Psychology, and then spent about a year in Rotterdam – probably the Dutch city I love the most, although I honestly consider the Netherlands as a whole my second home. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back living here for good once I finish my PhD in Italy! As for me: people say I’m nice and easy-going :) I enjoy talking and listening to other people’s stories and just having a good chat. At the same time, I also like quality time on my own – listening to music, reading, watching series, or enjoying the outdoors. I love cycling (gravel is my favorite!), running, and swimming. I also adore long walks in nature, and I never miss a chance to take pictures of flowers, the sky, or anything that catches my eye. Ik ben Floris en ik ben dit jaar begonnen aan mijn studie psychologie op het radboud, ik woon al een jaar in Nijmegen (Oost) maar helaas kon ik hier maar een jaar wonen en ben ik dus op zoek naar een nieuw huisje! Ik ben een echte kook fanaat en probeer graag vaak nieuwe recepten uit, die ik graag ook door andere mensen laat proeven!
