Mijn zus en ik verhuizen in augustus naar Groningen om aan onze studie aan de RUG te beginnen, we hebben er allebei erg veel zin in om aan onze studie te beginnen en onze plek in de nieuwe stad te vinden. Wij zijn 2 rustige en nette meiden die gefocust zijn op hun studie. Wij zijn vanaf eind juli/begin augustus op zoek naar een appartement met 2 aparte slaapkamers, liefst dichtbij het UMCG (waar wij gaan studeren). Hoi! Ik ben Isabel, 25 jaar en afgelopen augustus afgestudeerd als ergotherapeut. Momenteel ben ik deels werkzaam in Woerden (hals-pols kliniek), deels in Utrecht (basisschool). Al enige tijd ben ik opzoek naar een woning in Utrecht, ik ben namelijk toe aan een nieuwe stap in mijn leven door op mezelf te wonen. Naast de passie voor mijn werk vind ik het in mijn vrije tijd leuk om gezelligheid op te zoeken door wat leuks te doen met mijn vrienden; bijv. te poolen, uiteten -, naar de film -, of naar een concert/feestje te gaan. Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. Since I also will stay in the apartment I will be your host (not a student), and as we may spend some time in the same apartment it may be a good idea to share some info about myself. I am broadly interested. I consider myself a social person. I like to be in contact with other people from all kinds of origin and like to talk about all kinds of subjects. I am an alpha as well as a beta person, I am into technical stuff as well as into languages. I do a lot of fitness at home. I have done all kinds of interesting things mostly on the area of IT, but have stopped working on a fixed position for a while now. I am not the type working with a fixed agenda, I eat when I want, sleep when I want, go out where and when I want, but I am quite punctial with my appointments and rules.
