I’ve been studying here for a year already, but I currently live in Bedum so I’m hoping to move to the city for next year. I spend most of my time practicing at the school, but when I’m not there I enjoy reading, going to the gym, and exploring the city. I’ve lived with roommates for 4 years back in Canada, so I have experience being a roommate :)

Hoi! Ik ben Minthe en ik kom uit Zuid-Limburg. Aankomend schooljaar ga ik Bouwkunde studeren aan de HAN in Arnhem, dus ik ben op zoek naar een fijne kamer omdat de reistijd anders echt te lang wordt. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief: ik speel tennis en ga het liefst elk jaar op wintersport. Daarnaast hou ik van gezellige dingen op z’n tijd, zoals spelletjesavonden, samen eten of een filmavond. Ik kook ook graag, dus af en toe iets lekkers samen maken vind ik alleen maar leuk 🙂 Ik ben een rustig en net persoon en hou van een schoon en opgeruimd huis. Ik vind het fijn als er een goede balans is tussen je eigen ding doen en af en toe gezelligheid samen. Ik rook niet. Als ik eenmaal een beetje gesetteld ben in Arnhem, wil ik ook graag een bijbaan zoeken. Op dit moment ben ik 17 jaar en in oktober word ik 18. Hoi! Mijn naam is Jacquelien (20) en ik ben op zoek naar een fijne kamer waar ik mijn studententijd echt goed kan beleven. In het begin ben ik misschien wat rustig, maar zodra ik me op mijn gemak voel ben ik spontaan, sociaal en altijd open voor nieuwe ideeën. Ik ben iemand die veel waarde hecht aan netheid en rust in huis. Ik houd ervan om mijn omgeving verzorgd en gezellig te houden, en ik ben daarin ook heel verantwoordelijk. Daarnaast sta ik financieel sterk, dus de huur betalen zal nooit een probleem zijn. De stap naar een kamer voelt voor mij als een mooie kans om nóg zelfstandiger te worden. Ik ben nu al erg zelfstandig en merk dat ik echt behoefte heb aan mijn eigen plek, waar ik mijn studie en dagelijks leven goed kan combineren. Het lijkt me waardevol om deze fase van mijn leven bewust mee te maken en te ervaren hoe het is om volledig op mezelf te wonen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief: ik doe aan krachttraining en hardlopen, wat me veel energie geeft. Tegelijkertijd kan ik ook erg genieten van een rustige avond op de bank. Maar ik houd ook van gezelligheid — met mooi weer vind ik het heerlijk om spontaan een terrasje te pakken of iets leuks te doen. Ik zoek vooral een plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen en waar wederzijds respect en een fijne sfeer belangrijk zijn. Ik denk dat ik als nette, zelfstandige en positieve huurder een goede toevoeging zou zijn aan een huis.

I do believe myself to be a great option for any landlord/flatmates, so here is a list of reasons/facts about me that may be convincing of this: - I do not smoke nor drink (only cider sometimes) nor party nor own any pets. - I was a member of the Norwegian KFUK-KFUM boy scouts for well over 10 years. - I have consistent student income from the Norwegian government that allows me to always make my payments in time without anything like work being an issue. - I study Human Geography and Planning, the Bachelor which is the prerequisite for Urban Planning. I don't want to be insisting, but considering I am studying planning, it makes sense I am tidy, clean and planned. - I enjoy people, but without the need to be with them constantly.
