Hii, my name’s Miro and I am a student applicant for Erasmus University Rotterdam! I am 18 close to 19 from Bulgaria and I’m looking for a place to stay at. I do not have many rules or requirements just looking for a good environment where everyone can feel like themselves. I am not a demanding person nor do I get irritated easily, we are all human after all, however, I am not okay with making people feel out of place. I tend to get along with all kinds of people and I enjoy seeing new ways of going about things even when I sometimes do not completely understand them. I do not smoke, I do not have any pets and I always do my part when it comes to house work. However, I’m not hardheaded and I am totally okay with adapting to whatever is needed. Hii, ik ben Marli, 18 jaar oud, woon momenteel in Made en ga komend jaar Humane Neurowetenschappen studeren in Nijmegen. Afgelopen jaren besteedde ik mijn vrije tijd graag met vriendinnen; samen shoppen, het terras op, hier en daar een feestje, maar vooral altijd lachen samen! Omdat ik volgend jaar vanaf huis 2u heen en 2u terug zal moeten reizen naar Nijmegen, zoek ik een kamer om onder andere deze dingen te kunnen blijven doen! Eigenschappen die vaak aan mij gekoppeld worden door mensen om me heen zijn sociaal, zorgzaam, verantwoordelijk en enthousiast. Ik help graag anderen, kan ze (vaak) goed voorzien van advies en plan veel vooruit. Ik zal dus ook goed voor mijn kamer (en huisgenoten) zorgen. I am a 24-year-old Canadian law student from Toronto. I have been in Groningen since August 2025. I came to Groningen as part of my Canadian University’s partnership with RUG that allowed me to finish my Canadian Juris Doctor degree and enabled me to get an LLM at RUG. As such, currently, I have completed the Juris Doctor degree and am wrapping up my LLM in Law and Technology at the RUG. In Canada, the study of law is exclusively a graduate study. As a result, I also have an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Toronto. Initially, I planned to go back to Toronto for work after the completion of my study in Groningen. However, I have fallen in love with the city and its walkability/cyclability. As a result, I plan to stay in the city for some time and establish a legal career in Europe. Currently, I am in the process of searching for a legal job. In the meantime, I have lined up some part time work to keep up with expenses. Although surprised, my family is supportive of my decision to stay in Groningen and are willing to act as my financial safety net, if needed. I have been paying 800 EUR for my current SSH accommodation and can provide the receipts. Apart from my study and work-based pursuits, I have kept engaged with hobbies in the city including Salsa and Ballroom dancing. I am also a part of the travel association AEGEE and have taken opportunities to travel across 12 European countries. Additionally, I am currently taking Dutch intensive summer classes. I hope to have at least an A2 level proficiency in the language by the end of this summer.

Hello! I am Jira, 24, lived in the Netherlands for almost 7 years, previously living in Ireland and lagös in the past. I am looking for a home in Rotterdam as I aim to start my master's degree in September. I had previously lived in Rotterdam, so I have good knowledge of the city and would be able to fit in seamlessly in any condition both as a lone renter and a roommate. In terms of personality and what to expect, I would say I am an enthusiastic person who loves music, making friends but also has my quiet moments but always have the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and have a meaningful chat for a long time.
