Ik ben een 6 VWO leerling uit Kerkrade en ga Werktuigbouwkunde studeren aan de TU Delft. Rondom deze omgeving zoek ik daarom ook een kamer! Ik ben een vrij rustig persoon, maar de mensen om me heen zouden me niet als ongezellig beschrijven. Ik ben graag creatief bezig: naaien, video-editen en grafisch ontwerp zijn dingen waar ik me graag bezig mee hou! Verder ben ik ook graag aan het sporten: ik heb ~ 6 jaar gevoetbald en het afgelopen jaar heb ik me vooral met gymmen en boulderen bezig gehouden. Op het gebied van school hou ik graag van het debat: ik heb lang gezeten bij de debatvertegenwoordiging van school en heb veel gedaan met MEP (Model European Parliament). Ook hou ik wel van uitdaging: ik heb vaak meegedaan aan Olympiades en heb het Technasium afgerond. Verder ben ik als Chinees in Nederland opgegroeid: thuis spreken we Chinees en eten we Chinees. Ik heb ook lang gezeten op de Chinese school, vanaf al zolang ik dingen kan onthouden eigenlijk.

Hey friends, it’s my first time venturing out into this form of finding a place while traveling. This is the first summer we are able to stay away from our home for more than 2 weeks and we’re looking for a local experience rather than a hotel (having just left the corporate world). My wife and I are both psychologists and I am a masters student at Oxford University (part time) while we both run a training center in applied mindfulness and psychology. For this summer we are planning to spend a month in Oxford (as I complete my thesis), a month in Amsterdam, and a month in Portugal — where we have a home (our little fur child — a red haired Shiba Inu — is at our extended family home, we couldn’t bring her with us due to restrictions in the UK 👎). We found a home for our stay at Oxford and now looking for a home for our stay in Amsterdam (or nearby) We are tidy, organized and enjoy quiet mornings and quiet evenings. A cafe nearby to read at and a park and shopping area to enjoy. That for us is an ideal vacation. We have sublet our home in Dubai while traveling before so we understand how important it is to take care of a home and look after it like our own.
