Hi, I'm Jonghae, 27, from South Korea. I lived in Amsterdam in 2022–2023 and I've just moved back on a working holiday visa. I'm currently looking for work in hospitality. From September 2027 I'll be starting a BSc in Economics and Business Economics at VU Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a long-term place rather than a short stay. About me: I'm quiet and tidy, I cook a lot, and I keep to a regular routine. I'm not a party person, but I'm always up for a meal or a drink with housemates. I've lived in shared houses before — a year here in Amsterdam and a year in Australia — so I know how to keep a shared kitchen usable. On the practical side: since I'm still job-hunting I don't have a Dutch employment contract yet, but I have enough savings to cover my stay, and I'm happy to pay a higher deposit or several months of rent in advance. I can provide a bank statement. One requirement: the address must allow registration with the gemeente (inschrijving mogelijk). I'm in Amsterdam now and can view at short notice.

Dat mag tijdelijk zijn of voor langere tijd; beide opties geven mij de ruimte om rustig verder te kijken en een volgende stap te zetten. Het belangrijkste voor mij is een prettige, stabiele plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Het lijkt me leuk om kennis te maken en te kijken of er een match is.
