MY PLAN: My fiance and I are in the process of moving to Amsterdam full time, so I’m looking for a temporary apartment/studio/room to rent for a month or two for myself (which will give me time to find a permanent home for us both), then she’ll come and join me. It would be nice to find a permanent home directly, but I’m finding it difficult to do from over here. Which is why I’m coming there to do it ‘in person’. ME: Dual citizenship (Italy/US); spent most of my life in NYC but am currently based in Italy. I’m tidy, quiet, and respectful of others and their things; years of roommate-living in NYC taught me this. On an average day I’ll generally stick to myself, as I’ll be either working online or out and about event planning for work or looking at apartments. With that said though, I’m very open to social interaction, as I’ll be taking every opportunity to get to know the city and its people more! I’ve been there a dozen times these past few years for work or weekends away, so am looking forward to finally living there. MY JOB: Photographer, currently working full time in a remote position with a tech company in the photography industry. I also teach photography, curate it, collect it and exhibit it, so will be picking up more work in/around Amsterdam’s art scene as well while I’m there. YOU: Male or female = ok. LGBTQ+ = ok.
