Hey, I'm Jan, a student from Czechia, moving to the Netherlands to do my bachelor's in Computer Science at TU Delft. I'm pretty tidy and easy-going, the type who cleans up after himself and doesn't bring drama into the flat. Outside of my studies I'm into the hardware side of tech, mostly designing PCBs, which is a quiet desk hobby I keep to my own room. But I'm not a hermit, I'm always down for a coffee, a meal, or a night out here and there. I also love traveling and seeing new places, and when I'm winding down you'll usually find me watching anime. I grew up dancing in a Moravian folklore group, and I've played a bunch of instruments over the years (organ, classical and electric guitar, mandolin), though I don't get to them as much these days. I don't smoke, no cigarettes or vapes, and I'm not really a drinker. I'm totally fine with a social household, I just don't need it to be a party every single night. Somewhere friendly and relaxed, where people actually hang out but also appreciate a bit of quiet, is my kind of place.

I just finished high school with the "Mention Bien" (high honors), and I have a unconditional offer to start the Bachelor in International Business Administration at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, this September. This has been a goal of mine for a while now, and I'm really looking forward to starting this new chapter in Rotterdam. I'm currently looking for an apartment or studio in Rotterdam, ideally in Crooswijk, Kralingen or Centrum, as these are the areas I like most and that would work well with my daily routine.
