Hello everyone! My name is Nicole, I'm 25 years old and I'm originally from Italy. In the last couple of years I've lived in different countries for studying and working, including Japan and Australia, and France and since February of this year I've been doing a Master in Politics, Economies and Societies of Asia at Leiden University. As I'm studying in Leiden and working part-time in Den Haag, I am looking for a room in the area :) I am a friendly person, I enjoy chatting and hanging out with my flatmates, but I of course also value personal space. I am very clean and always make sure common spaces are tidy and ready for the next person to use. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, markets and cafes with my friends, as well as playing tennis and other sports. I am also attending a Dutch course in Leiden every week :)

I'm looking for a long-term room or studio with BRP registration, ideally in The Hague or within a reasonable commuting distance. My accommodation is fully supported by my parents, and I also have a local support network in the Netherlands, including a family friend who can act as a guarantor if needed. After settling into university life, I hope to find a part-time job to gain experience and become more involved in the local community. However, my studies will always remain my top priority. More than just finding a place to stay, I'm hoping to find a home where everyone feels comfortable, respected and welcome.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
