Hello! My name is Ana. I am 25 years old and about to start a master's program in Political Theory at the University of Amsterdam. I am writing because I am very interested in this room and would love to book a viewing. I play the piano and enjoy trying new hobbies, from chill ones to more adventurous ones. I love flea markets, meeting new people, and speaking different languages. I try to explore the world while keeping my travels sustainable. I love going to festivals and enjoy listening to many music genres (hip hop, rock, flamenco, jazz, electronic). Me as a roomie: I'm open to housemates who are more social, just as I'm open to a home that's more of a quiet, safe space — both work for me, and I'll respect whichever it is. My personality and the way I treat my relationships carry over into how I like to share a flat: a combination of communication, patience, and being a good listener. I have a lot of experience living communally, since I moved to Madrid at 18 and have since lived with people from different backgrounds in Madrid, Warsaw, Kamperland (NL), Seville, and Dublin. I'm respectful, clean, tidy, and open-minded. I clean up after myself every time I cook, and I like to maintain the house during the week. I'm happy to divide chores weekly with roommates, but open to other systems too. I like having my own space and respecting others', while also enjoying time together — whether that's cooking dinner with housemates, watching a movie, or just chatting.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Hey toekomstige huisgenoten/verhuurder, Ik ben een derdejaars bachelorstudent (22) en ik zoek een plek in de regio Haaglanden, bij voorkeur in Den Haag of Leiden. Momenteel woon ik in een antikraakpand in Den Haag waar de sloopplannen binnenkort plaatsvinden. Daarom ben ik dringend op zoek naar een nieuwe woonplek! Een beetje over mezelf: ik kom uit Bergen op Zoom, ik hou van reizen en kunst. Een van de redenen dat ik graag in de regio Haaglanden wil blijven, is vanwege de aanwezige kunstcultuur hier. Ik heb gereisd binnen de EU, maar ook daarbuiten (Canada, Kenia). Ik ben een nette huisgenoot, ik hou van een schoon huis en woon momenteel met acht anderen (sommigen doen weinig en ik heb een hekel aan een vieze keuken :( ). Ik ben zeker niet meer in mijn feestperiode en ik zou graag huisgenoten hebben die werken of studeren zoals ik.
